This past weekend was the US Open at Diablo Freeride Park in Vernon, New Jersey. I placed 5th in the Giant Slalom race on Saturday night. Sunday was the downhill finals. I qualified in 18th, but with a few mistakes in my final run, I ended up tied for 21st. Riding through the rock garden was amazing this year. Tons of noise coming from the Red Bull DJ, air horns, cowbells, people yelling etc. Check out the footage from my ContourHD helmet that I had running during the race.
